Gender, Equality, Needs \u2013 Diversity Efforts at Ruhr University for LGBTIQ*-Students<\/span><\/h4>

Auf Basis von Bev\u00f6lkerungssch\u00e4tzungen des Lesben- und Schwulenverband Deutschland k\u00f6nnen wir davon ausgehen, dass mehr als 3.000 Mitglieder der LSBTIQ*-Gemeinschaft (lesbisch, schwul, bisexuell, transident, intersexuell, queer) an der Ruhr-Universit\u00e4t Bochum (RUB) studieren. Im Jahr 2013 unterzeichnete die RUB die \u201eCharta der Vielfalt\u201c, die neben der Gleichstellung von biologischen Geschlechtern auch die Wertsch\u00e4tzung von Mitmenschen unabh\u00e4ngig ihrer sexuellen Orientierung und Identit\u00e4t fordert. Das Projekt GENDER \u2013 LGBTIQ* st\u00e4rkt das Bekenntnis der Ruhr Universit\u00e4t zu gesellschaftlicher Vielfalt. Im Rahmen des Lore Agnes Programms f\u00fcr Gleichstellung werden die Situation, besonderen Bedarfe und psychosoziale Belastungen von Studierenden der LSBTIQ*-Gemeinschaft an der Ruhr-Universit\u00e4t untersucht. Weiterf\u00fchrend werden allgemeine und spezifische Anlaufstellen an der Ruhr-Universit\u00e4t zum Thema befragt. Aus den erhaltenen Informationen werden Ma\u00dfnahmen abgeleitet, die zum Empowerment von LSBTIQ**-Studierenden beitragen. Das Projekt GENDER \u2013 LGBTIQ* f\u00f6rdert damit die Identifikation der LSBTIQ*-Studierenden mit der eigenen Hochschule und sendet ein Signal f\u00fcr Toleranz und Offenheit in die Gesellschaft.<\/span><\/p>
