M\u00f6glicherweise liegt diese Prozentzahl bei Gefl\u00fcchteten noch h\u00f6her, da die sexuelle Orientierung bzw. Geschlechtsidentit\u00e4t f\u00fcr ein Fluchtgrund darstellen kann. Im Zuge der zunehmenden Immigration in den letzten Jahren sind somit vermutlich auch viele LSBTIQ-Gefl\u00fcchtete nach Deutschland eingereist. Bisher gibt es wenig Forschung zu LSBTIQ*-Gefl\u00fcchteten. Bestehende Forschung zu Gefl\u00fcchteten bzw. zu Angeh\u00f6rigen der LSBTIQ*-Community weist darauf hin, dass es in der jeweiligen Gruppe ein erh\u00f6htes Risiko f\u00fcr psychische Erkrankungen gibt, z.B. aufgrund von gesellschaftlicher Diskriminierung. Es ist denkbar, dass in der z.T. \u201edoppelt diskriminierten\u201c Population von LSBTIQ-Gefl\u00fcchteten spezifische Stressoren und Herausforderungen vorliegen. Das Forschungsprojekt asyLSBTIQ* untersucht daher das psychische Wohlbefinden und die gesellschaftliche Teilhabe von LSBTIQ-Gefl\u00fcchteten in Deutschland.
