    What we are doing

      Unsere Studien verfolgen das Ziel, die Entwicklung von Kindern im Kontext ihrer Familien sowie ihrer Erfahrungen in Kita und Schule zu untersuchen. Wir möchten die Erfahrungen von Kindern verstehen, die ihre sozial-emotionale und kognitive Entwicklung beeinflussen. Unser besonderer Fokus liegt dabei auf der positiven Entwicklung von Kindern aus zugewanderten und geflüchteten Familien: Welche Ressourcen stehen ihnen zur Verfügung, welche Entwicklungspfade nutzen sie in mehrsprachlichen und kulturell diversen Umwelten im Kontext von Familie, Freunden, Kita, Schule und den Nachbarschaften?
      Auf Basis empirischer Grundlagen möchten wir mit unserer Forschung zum wissenschaftlichen Fortschritt beitragen und gleichzeitig Handlungsempfehlungen für Praxis und Politik geben.
